A collection of three vintage American bass cabinets from Acoustic™, captured with their original 1970s drivers in place. The 1×18 folded-horn Model 301, loaded with the Cerwin Vega™ AC188L, produces a deep, rounded sub-bass that settles low. The 2×15 Model 402, with its EVL drivers, delivers the mid-focused punch that shaped countless studio and live recordings of the era. The largest of the three, the 4×15 Model 408, brings the kind of low-end weight that spreads across an entire arena stage.
The 4×15 Model 408 in this collection is one of the very cabinets prepared for Jaco Pastorius's Japan concerts in the early 1980s. After a long road, that touring unit found its way to the TacoSounds capture room. We've preserved the condition it carried off the stage, transcribed into this IR.
All three cabinets are captured with their original speaker components left in place — no substitutions, no EQ correction, no post-processing. What remains is the raw character of the cabinet itself. Ready to drop straight into tracking, reamping, or a live IR loader.
All three cabinets in one bundle, at a price below the total of buying each separately.
