About Kerry Wright
The Dumble of Speaker Cabinets — Los Angeles

Kerry Wright (d. October 2020) was a boutique cabinet builder based in Los Angeles, crafting guitar speaker cabinets as a one-man operation for over three decades.

His cabinets were chosen by Eddie Van Halen, Michael Landau, Lenny Kravitz, The Eagles, and countless LA session greats. He also built the headshells and cabinets for Alexander Dumble's legendary amplifiers — earning him the reputation as "the Dumble of speaker cabinets."

Russian birch plywood, angled baffle, hand-stretched Tolex, hand-stitched covers on a vintage sewing machine — every step done by his own hands. His cabinets will never be made anew.
