The Mesa Boogie™ 4×12 4FB Armor Cabinet is the reinforced-construction variant of Mesa's standard 4×12 closed-back cabinet — built for the rigours of professional touring with heavier-duty hardware and additional structural bracing compared with the standard model.

The closed-back 4×12 format remains the reference cabinet for high-gain rock and metal. Mesa's implementation pairs naturally with the Rectifier and Mark-series amplifiers and has been a fixture of professional rigs since its introduction.

This cabinet is loaded with Mesa's standard speaker configuration: four Celestion™ Vintage 30 drivers at 8 Ω — Celestion's flagship modern guitar speaker, prized for its pronounced upper-mid bite, aggressive harmonic content, and broad genre flexibility.

A reference capture for modern American high-gain tone. The closed-back enclosure's tight low-end response and the V30's mid-forward voicing produce a sound built for rhythm clarity under heavy distortion and for lead tones with sustained, articulate presence.
