'412 MARS 1982A HENDLX COMBINATION' is an impulse response product based on the 1994 Marshall™ Limited Edition Jimi Hendrix 1982A limited edition 4x12 angled top cabinet, loaded with CELESTION™ G12T-75 LOUDSPEAKER and CELESTION™ G12V30 LOUDSPEAKER speakers, renowned for their exceptional quality.
COMBINATION SPEAKER Cab
This refers to a specific technique of alternating different types or models of speakers within a guitar amplifier cabinet. Sometimes called the X-pattern, as in the Bogner Uberkab™. This approach combines the unique sonic characteristics of each speaker type to create a richer and more versatile sound experience.
This cabinet IR was recorded with mixed microphones only, to reproduce the combined resonance of different speakers.Single Mic IRs are not included in this product and are available as separate editions.
Mixed Mic IRs | 48 IRs Included
Each IR was captured with microphones positioned on both G12V30 and G12T-75 speakers, with multiple variations for each.
The numbers in the filename (e.g. 7-3, 6-4, 5-5, 4-6, 3-7) indicate the blend ratio between the two microphones. For example, 7-3 means the first microphone is mixed at 70% and the second microphone at 30%.
