The Marshall™ 1960A Vintage is the 1990s reissue of the classic 1960A 4×12 cabinet — built in the International production era to recapture the tone of the 1960s and 1970s originals with stable, modern quality.
The Vintage Series was Marshall's response to the rising boutique-cabinet market of the 1990s — the iconic look and feel, stable build quality, and easier availability than vintage originals, all in the original silhouette.
The slant-front design and Marshall's signature plywood construction are preserved, making this a versatile cabinet that works across blues, classic rock, and modern high-gain styles.
Inside are four Celestion™ G12 Vintage drivers — a 70-watt Marshall-exclusive design with a larger magnet, warmer tone, and creamier upper mids than the standard Vintage 30. The G12 Vintage predates the consumer V30 release window; Celestion produced this driver solely for Marshall, as the speaker the Vintage Series cabinet was voiced around.
A reference capture for the 1990s Marshall reissue voice. The G12 Vintage's larger magnet gives the cabinet an extra cushion of low-mid weight. The riff lands, and the cabinet receives it.
