ROLAND™ JC-120 Jazz Chorus 50th Anniversary Limited Edition
12″ Silver Cone × 2 · Made in Japan

The ROLAND™ JC-120 Jazz Chorus 50th Anniversary Limited Edition is a 350-unit worldwide release made in Japan. The cabinet is finished in natural sakura (Japanese cherry) veneer stained in deep burgundy open-pore; the dark gray grille cloth carries a commemorative badge with a hand-engraved serial number in its lower-right corner. The silky, organic feel of the open-pore finish, the Japanese cherry-blossom heritage carried straight into the material — collector-grade details that set this unit apart from the standard production model. Imamichi Signature is the IR set capturing the speaker response of this specific 50th-anniversary unit.

Since 1975, the JC-120 has stood as the industry's benchmark for clean guitar tone, earning its reputation as the "King of Clean" through players like Andy Summers, Steve Hackett, and Robert Fripp.

At the core of the sound are two 12″ "silver cone" speakers custom-built for Roland, each driven by its own dedicated 60-watt power amp for a total output of 120 watts. The silver cones deliver a crisp top end, transparent tonal character, and clean tones that hold their composure even at high volume. Layered with the open-back cabinet's natural breathing room and three-dimensional sense of depth, this IR set preserves the speaker response that has defined the JC-120's reputation as the King of Clean since 1975. Pair these captures with your amp model of choice, and the speaker character that has sat at the heart of JC-120 cleans steps out into your signal chain.
