The Fender™ Blues Deluxe is the original 1×12 entry in Fender's Hot Rod series, introduced in 1993 and built at Fender's American factory. The "Original" designation distinguishes early USA-made units from later reissues.
A 40-watt all-tube combo running a 6L6 power section, the Blues Deluxe pairs a clean Fender front-end with a footswitchable Drive channel, covering Fender clean, blues break-up, and classic-rock crunch from a single amplifier.
This IR captures the cabinet equipped with its original 1993 Eminence™ 12-inch speaker — the American-made driver Fender selected for its balanced midrange and traditional Fender tonal character.
A workhorse capture suited to clean rhythm, blues lead, and roots-rock tones. The recording preserves the open-back Hot Rod cabinet's natural ambience and the speaker's cone break-up at higher volumes. Paired with a tube amplifier, this cabinet voice opens onto the full breadth of Fender tone — from chiming clean to gritty crunch.
