Le Bogner™ Slant avec Celestion™ Vintage 30s fournit un bas du spectre serré et articulé, ainsi qu'un médium en avant : le voicing vers lequel Shibasaki se tourne pour le high-gain moderne et les parties rythmiques précises.
Le Marshall™ 1960AX avec Celestion™ G12M Greenbacks apporte une réponse plus chaude et plus ouverte, avec des caractéristiques de distorsion contrôlées. Il couvre tout, du classic rock aux sons modernes où le Bogner serait trop agressif.
La sélection des micros, leur placement et le réglage du tone ont tous été supervisés par Shibasaki lui-même. Chaque cabinet a été tracké à travers plusieurs positions et orientations de micros afin d'offrir au chargeur IR une flexibilité maximale pour s'adapter au matériau source.
