Using Multiple IRs
Phase Alignment
To mix multiple IRs properly, adjust the Distance parameter in the Cab block to align phases. This prevents phase cancellation and ensures all IR peaks work together.
MPT IRs: Easy to mix together
Red and yellow show MPT-type IRs, blue shows Natural Phase IR. MPT IRs don't need phase alignment when used together.
Natural vs MPT
Same IRs, different waveforms. MPT creates uniform peaks for all IRs. This affects the sound.
After loading the AXE FX III preset, open Tools > Manage Cabs and copy & save to USER 2 slots 0001-0008.
